This autumn, Shine a Life invites young artists to roar with courage in an unforgettable theatre adventure inspired by the epic story of Mufasa. Over five magical days, children will step into the world of musical theatre—exploring singing, dancing, acting, character creation, and storytelling while building confidence and creativity.
Guided by our experienced teaching artists and following the LAMDA curriculum, participants will:
Develop performance skills (voice, movement, stage presence)
Strengthen teamwork, leadership, and resilience
Explore themes of courage, responsibility, and the meaning of family
Grow social and communication skills through fun, interactive activities
The majestic Palácio Nacional da Ajuda sets the stage for inspiration. Once home to exotic animals in its botanical gardens and even a royal parrot, the palace offers a unique link between royalty and the wild—woven into every tapestry, sculpture, and story.

Drama Kings & Queens: End-of-Year Camp – Sleeping Beauty

Step into the magic of the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, where Princes D. Carlos and D. Afonso once grew up surrounded by books, art, and music—including Charles Perrault’s classic Sleeping Beauty, still preserved in the Royal Library.
Celebrate the end of the year with us in an enchanting theatre experience inspired by Sleeping Beauty! Over two intensive and fun-filled days, participants will explore:
Acting and improvisation
Monologues and storytelling
Body expression and stage presence
Building confidence and teamwork
With the palace’s historic grandeur as our backdrop, children will develop creativity, self-expression, and performance skills in a truly inspiring environment.
