It's hard to believe a year has gone by since my little Sienna reached 4 months of age on Easter Sunday 2014...
Now that we can play together and she learns new things so quickly, I can't wait to have some Easter fun with her this Sunday.
I know I'm not the only parent wanting to keep my child's life as sugar/salt free as possible for now. Sienna has her whole life to taste and enjoy such things, but at this stage it is just unnecessary. And if I'm being realistic this may well be the last year that I can keep Easter chocolate-free!
So having looked into it, there are many "egg-cellent" alternatives (sorry I couldn't help myself!) to the traditional chocolate eggs for children. Tomy's "Hide n Squeak Eggs" for 6+ months are a cute idea and help develop your child's logical thinking, attention span, and memory. Another "egg-citing" alternative (oops I did it again..) is Crayola's Mini Kids "Egg-Shaped Crayons (12+ months). These are a great way to introduce your toddler to colouring as they are so "eggonomic" (last time I promise!!). And then for older kids there are tons of Easter crafts out there. Just get creative and have some fun! Happy Easter! Feliz Pascua! Joyeuses Paques!
